The Awards

The Lancashire Tourism Awards is the biggest and only county-wide celebration of tourism excellence in Lancashire.  The awards celebrate excellence across a wide range of visitor economy businesses, revealing the brightest and best stars working in Lancashire tourism today, with many of the county’s winners then going on to represent Lancashire at the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence.

Most recent figures (2023) show that Lancashire rose to 66.7 million, up by 2.8% on previous 2022 figures.   A steady increase in visitors to Lancashire.  The value of tourism activity in the region was estimated to be £5.4 billion.

Marketing Lancashire are now operating as the County’s LVEP (Local Visitor Economy Partnership) working directly with VisitEngland and Department for Culture Media and Sport, we look to push forward  our tourism growth strategy in partnership with Lancashire hospitality and tourism businesses.   These awards celebrate the resilience of the tourism sector in Lancashire as the industry redefines itself to deliver exceptional visitor experiences and build on previous visitor numbers.
