Recognises tourism businesses that excel in providing an inclusive customer experience, particularly for those with accessibility requirements.
Business Events Venue Award *
Recognises business events venues that demonstrate an excellent understanding of the market, exceeding the expectations of their clients and have a strategic plan for future development within this area, with clear goals.
Camping, Glamping & Holiday Park Award *
Recognises self catering accommodation, holiday parks, sites and villages that provide exceptional guest experiences across properties for let, static vans, touring pitches, shepherd’s huts and more.
Cultural Venue/Organisation Award
This category is for cultural organisations which curate an annual programme of cultural, heritage and arts-based experiences for its audiences including visitors and local residents.
Dog Friendly Business Award
Recognises providers of truly memorable experiences for dogs and their human companions.
Experience Award *
Recognises providers of memorable and immersive activities for visitors to participate in, from cooking masterclasses to woodland nature tours.
Family Owned/Run Business Award
Recognises family businesses directly involved in tourism in Lancashire, demonstrating that family members and family values are making an impact in their business, industry and community.
Hotel Wedding Venue Award
Recognises wedding venues that demonstrate an excellent understanding of the market, exceeding the expectations of their clients and contribute to the wider visitor economy.
Large Hotel Award *
Recognises full service hotels, with 35 + bedrooms, that provide exemplary service, a top-quality food offering and a stay that guests will remember for years to come.
Large Visitor Attraction Award *
Recognises large visitor attraction businesses, attracting 75,000 visitors pa and/or employs more than 10 full-time staff, providing truly memorable visitor experiences and demonstrating excellence across every aspect of the business.
New Tourism Business Award *
Recognises high performing new tourism businesses, demonstrating excellent understanding of their market, exceeding the expectations of their customers with clear plans for future development.
Pub Award *
Recognises pubs that make a significant contribution to tourism in their area, with a unique offering, fabulous atmosphere, excellent service and is a destination in it’s own right.
Regenerative Tourism Award *
Recognises tourism businesses from across the visitor economy who are truly committed to championing and delivering a regenerative tourism approach to their sustainable actions. Showing clearly how visitors are encouraged to behave in a responsible way throughout their visit or stay.
Self-Catering Accommodation Award *
Recognises self catering accommodation businesses that provide the highest quality stays and help to create fabulous memories for all their guests, from rural romantic hideaways to family-friendly city breaks.
Small Serviced Accommodation Award *
Recognises smaller serviced accommodation businesses providing truly memorable guest experiences and demonstrating excellence across every aspect of the business.
Small Visitor Attraction Award *
Recognises small visitor attraction businesses, attracting 75,000 visitors or fewer pa and/or 10 or fewer full time staff, that leave visitors with lasting memories and excel in customer service.
Taste Lancashire Award *
Recognises businesses within the tourism industry that offer outstanding cuisine, innovative service and excellence throughout their entire operation.
Unsung Hero Award *
Recognises an individual working or volunteering for a tourism business who deserves to be applauded for their work and commitment to the industry.
Wedding Venue Award
Recognises exclusive wedding venues that demonstrate an excellent understanding of the market, exceeding the expectations of their clients and contribute to the wider visitor economy.
